If you tint your brows, tint at least one week prior to the procedure. ~Cosmetic Botox or Fillers should be done 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks after. ~ Do not consume alcohol, caffeine, or take any blood thinners ( Ibuprophen, Aspirin, Niacin) 48 hours before your procedure as this may cause excess bleeding and or bruising and may affect your results. ~ You may come in with how you normally draw your brows so we can see what you are used too. Apply this very small amount to each brow with a clean fingers. ~Oily skin types should avoid ointment all together and dry heal for 7-10 days
*What to Expect* ~Do not expect your brow tattoos to heal perfectly after the first session. This is a two step process that takes time. Be patient during your 10 day healing process as your brows will appear different from day to day. Immediately after your procedure your brows will appear darker and more defined and this will last up to two weeks. Your brow tattoo can appear more solid. Around days 4-5, you will experience flaking and your brows may look dry. DO NOT PICK YOUR BROWS. Let any dryness fall off naturally. If flakes get picked off prematurely this will cause patchy brows and can lead to scarring. Your brow tattoos will take up to 4 weeks to fully heal. Color will continue to change on a daily basis until healing is complete. You may experience itchiness in the brows after the 10 days and up to 2 months due to the healing of the dermal layer.
Brow Touch ups: ~ Touch ups are typically done within the first 3 months of the initial appointment. This can be a 2 and sometimes 3 step process. The first session is used to build shape and gain symmetry. The second is used to perfect the brows and add density. This process is different for all clients to achieve their desired ruislt. Do not expect perfect results after the first session. Darker skin and oily complexions may cause peremanent makeup to appear lighter than on dryer, lighter type clients. Some skin may have a harder time retaining pigment and may require additional sessions.
Lips Pre-appointment: ~Your lips cannot be dry for the appointment. If they are dry, we will need to reschedule and you will forfeit your deposit. ~You may exfoliate 3 days before your appointment to remove any dry skin. You can use lip scrub or create your own using honey and brown sugar. ~For the week leading up to the appointment you must moisturize your lips as much as possible (using aquaphor). *Important* COLD SORES ARE A RISK OF LIP BLUSH TATTOO. IF YOU HAVE HAD A COLD SORE IN THE PAST- WE ADVISE YOU TO GO TO THE DOCTOR FOR AN ANTI-VIRAL MEDICATION PRIOR TO ANY LIP PROCEDURE, TO HELP AVOID AN OUTBREAK.
Lips Post appointment: ~Lips will feel swollen and very dry after your treamtemt. ~Apply ONLY the provided ointment on lips several times a day. This should be done 14 days post appointment. Do not allow lips to become dry - this may interfere with healed color. During the day if lips feel dry, apply a liberal amount of the ointment provided. ~Always use a clean q-tip, not fingers to apply ointment to help avoid infection. ~After lips are no longer tender, they may become flaky. The outcome will be subtle. This is not eyeliner, it is eyelash enhancement and will not replace eyeliner but will give you a natural eye enhancement. ~Wash the site gently and apply ointment provided 2 times per day with eyes closed using gentle soap and water using hands only.
